68°C fire extinguisher R-AMFE

Description

After the predetermined operating temperature is reached, mini fire extinguisher R-AMFE automatically releases the CO2 fire extinguishing agent, thus suppressing the fire in a short time and keeping the damages as small as possible. The R-AMFE also signals to a monitoring system that it has released the extinguishing gas. Additionally, the R-AMFE can be remotely triggered, for example, by a central fire control panel.

The CO2 fire extinguishing agent is intended only for unoccupied spaces where no people are present. AMFEpro fire extinguishers are also available with the Novec™ fire extinguishing agent which poses no hazard to human health.

The activation temperatures of the fire extinguisher

When selecting an activation temperature, take into account that the activation temperature must be 25 °C higher than the expected ambient temperature. The permanent ambient temperature in the case where the cylinder is installed must not exceed 100 °C / 212 °F, however, automatic fire extinguishers can be installed in such a way that the cylinder itself is located outside the protected case / potential fire point. The activation temperature can be customized, but typical standard temperatures are:

• 68°C / 155°F (red)
• 79°C / 175°F (yellow)
• 93°C / 200°F (green)
• 141°C / 286°F (blue)
• 182°C/ 360°F (purple)
